Dying in a Hot Tub

*Similar to ‘you’ll be fine’, this song is written from the perspective of the three brothers.

*This song takes place during their journey of self-discovery, from Lieseil to Obsidian, and gives us an insight of their struggles during this time.

*The lyrics contain references to common symptoms of depression.

*A direct correlation to substance abuse – ‘but you’re always getting wasted, you’re always getting wasted all the time’ ‘getting caught in your ‘drug phase”.

*The chorus of the song shows the effects of self-induced substance abuse/Anhedonia, including hallucinations.

*’I’m dying in a hot tub’ – connects to the symbolism of the bathtub, how the hardest part of their journey was the remaining connection to Lieseil (for more information, see ‘bathtubs’ under the symbols tab).
