Front Cover

*The background of the cover is a wall of Emerson’s art. This could possibly be the same room that Emerson drew all over when he was 16, and can be seen in the youtube video ‘Emerson Barrett’s Hallucinatory Cinema Show’, however this is not confirmed. On the art you can vaguely see a ship (the ship to obsidian?), obsidian ciphers, the all seeing eye, a large building which may be the mental estate, and more.

*Emerson is seen to be holding/drinking the red drink, this implies that side a is about them being under the control of Lieseil since the drink is a method of control. This contrasts the teacups seen on the side b cover. (see ‘red drink’ and ‘teacups’ under the symbols tab)

*You can see Emerson’s pocket watch beside him, you cannot see the time since it’s shut. This could symbolise that they have lost track of time under lieseil’s control. Clocks are huge symbolisms in the storyline.

*Towards the bottom of the cover you can see a telephone. This is likely the same one seen on the side b cover and possibly in the get higher music video. Interestingly, no one seems to be on the phone.

*In the bottom right you can see a dog. This is one of palaye’s old dogs called Leila. As of now we’re not sure if this means anything.

*On the left on Emerson you can see what looks like a pile of books. We can’t see what they are but we know that books are a large symbol throughout the story. It could show that power is knowledge and that books were a possible escapism from the brainwashing however this is just a guess.

*Emerson is seen to be wearing a white-ish shirt, Remington is wearing black and Sebastian is wearing a shirt with red, black and white. This could possibly link with the colour theory however as of the moment this is not confirmed. (see ‘colour theory’ under the symbols tab)

*All the boys are wearing rings similar to the side b cover. We are not sure if that means anything though.
