*747 is an angel number that lets the viewer know that they are heading in the right direction. In this storyline, the number is very commonly used in reference to Obsidian, which signifies that that island (or even specific places on the island), is where the characters should be going.

*747 connects with the quote at the end of FWMH (“and so you never really know in which direction progress lies”). Although they might be unsure, the number is there to lead them.

*The void is Obsidian Island. This storyline all leads up to the reform of Obsidian, and learning how to ‘love the void’.

*In the Obsidian Archival footage IGTV video, we see the Ship to Obsidian on Emerson’s infamous pocket watch, and as it opens, we see that the time is set to 7:47. This shows the characters (as well as us), that taking the Ship to Obsidian is for the better. The 747 is a sign that they are heading in the right direction, towards the void and away from Lieseil.
