Morning Light

*This music video has many objects and symbols.

*In the very first shot, we see Emerson light a match. This same concept is seen in multiple music videos, like Get Higher and Nervous Breakdown. The fire is used to destroy a part of Lieseil Inc., and signifies the part of a strong revolution against their powers.

*Many clocks are seen in the music video, most of which are seen again. At 0:17, the clock in the left background is the same clock that we see on the cover of Emerson’s short film. This is a significant clock because instead of numbers, each time is marked by a key, a connection to the Blackwell keys. The largest clock seen in the music video also appears in the Don’t Feel Quite Right video.

*0:47 – We see the brothers seated in a particular way, which can be seen again in other music videos. They are holding old-fashioned cameras, which can be seen in almost every music video from that point onwards. These cameras could be representative of how they have lived their lives in the public eye, as well as the constant eye of Lieseil Inc.

*At 2:07 we see a wall full of symbols and writing. Some of these include ‘tv screen’, ‘watch the mind’, ‘love me’, ‘jesus is watching’ along with the all-seeing eye and upside down cross symbols.

*Throughout the music video, they are wandering around a city, mostly during the nighttime, which is when the revolution is most active.

*The colourful mountainside, separate from the metropolitan areas, we theorise to be a symbol of creativity and individuality. It is a place away from the city, which in the storyline, is the main place of power of Lieseil Inc. x Warhol Stars. This mountainside could also be a physical depiction of Calypso, the idealistic world they have imagined.

*3:10 – We see the first instance of Lieseil in Palaye’s history. This concept has been around since the beginning, only growing since Morning Light. In this shot, we can see many other symbol that have been spotted in Emerson’s current art, so they are most likely Obsidian Cipher symbols.

*According to our theory of the storyline progressing backwards through their discography, Morning Light would be the final part of the story.

*The final shot of this music video is the reverse of the first shot, with the flame extinguishing. Fire is a representation of the revolution, so this shot is the end of the revolt. Here, they have finished what they set out to do with the revolution, and thus, the fire is extinguished. The storyline has ended.
