*In Lonely, Remington walks through his childhood, reliving memories and showing the effects of his upbringing.

*Out of the three brothers, Rem was abused the most by his father for wanting to express himself, and showing more femininity than Sebastian and Emerson 

*He started wearing makeup as a way to turn into someone else for a period in time, hoping to escape the life he was living.

*Another coping mechanism for him become substances, especially pills and drugs. He felt his life was too painful to live, and instead opted to drown out his own thoughts. 

*The climbing on the wall and the floating are both exaggerated products of drugs, as well as of Anhedonia.

*The video is concentrated solely on Remington because he felt alone in his darkest points, as if no one was there to help him out. Everyone important to him becomes an onlooker in his life to his point of view, but he is trapped inside his own mind.

*In this music video, we have some of the most important people to Remington: his brothers and bandmates Sebastian and Emerson, bandmates Andrew and Daniel, friend Michael, and girlfriend Monica. Though they are there with him, Remington is still on his own journey to finding himself, possibly in secret from everyone else.

*The marching band on the stadium is representative of how music became a background in his life when he was stuck inside his mind. He could only focus on one thing, and although music was always there, it could have become a chore to do at times.

*He digs his grave on a high school football field, named The Soldiers. This means that the stadium is representative of the Soldiers of the Royal Council.

*Remington feels alone everywhere in the world, but feels at home amongst the fans, the soldiers.

*With the grave, Rem is bringing himself closer to the underground, to the revolution. He chose his home to be in the revolution, surrounded by those who support him.
