*In the very beginning glitches before the music video starts, the Bastards are in a TV, being watched by Alister and Lieseil. Remington in this is covering one eye, a symbol of the all-seeing eye, which confirms that the TV screen is how they are being watched by those in power.

*These are some notable objects in the living room that they are sitting in: the bust art piece, clock, phone, The Royal Times in Emerson’s hand, chess board, and more that we see later in closeups.

*The seating of the three brothers is the exact same as the seating in Morning Light, even Sebastian and Emerson are reading books during these shots, though we do not know the purpose behind this seating.

*0:07 – One of the books on the table is titled Mazes of Labyrinth, a reference to the symbol of the maze.

*0:07 – We get a glance at Remington’s cane, which is Bartholomew Lieseil’s old cane, and the same cane as seen on Mr Doctor Man in merchandise.

*We then see Alister Warhol alone with a tea set, inspecting Palaye through the TV screen, and looking at documents presumably about the brothers.

*0:30 – Reveals a Lieseil Inc. logo with something indecipherable behind it.

*0:37 – Emerson’s pocket watch makes an appearance.

*Sebastian heads outside to read his book, and there is a tea set located there as well. The tea sets are very important for them to have around, as they are an alternative to the controlling red drink and other substances.

*At 0:58, Emerson’s spiritual father figure, Alan Watts, makes an appearance, with his book The Collected letters of Alan Watts on the table alongside a compass.

*1:10 – Sebastian and Emerson continue playing a game of chess, or as the symbol suggests, the game of life.

*1:14 – We get a glance at Alister Warhol’s cane, which is later in the hands of Emerson, as seen in You’ll Be Fine. This is interesting because in this point in time, Alister retains his cane, while Bartholomew’s is already in the hands of Remington.

*Alister Warhol opens three drawers, and takes out a small box from each of them. These have been theorised to represent each of the three brothers, and are almost like case studies on them. He puts some things in the boxes, one of which being a letter or something of the sort tied to Lieseil Inc. x Warhol Stars, and the mysterious Lieseil logo manipulation from earlier in the video.

*This song is about Palaye’s realisation of the manipulation being done to them. They are piecing together information and growing against Lieseil Inc. more and more.

*Since Alister has been watching, he notices this realisation, and sends for them to be abducted. As Emerson has previously stated in an interview, ‘if you’re not a ‘model citizen’, then you’re abducted and taken from society, and you go elsewhere’.

*During the abduction, smoke is introduced to the characters before the actual abduction in order to tire them out, or to weaken them.

*The video then shows clips of hospital beds and experiments, hints at the Nervous Breakdown music video, and what happens next to the Bastards.

*’and so you never really know in which direction progress lies’.
