Bartholomew Lieseil

*Born in November 1827, in the west-end slum of Obsidian as Bartholemew White. His parents and family background are unknown. All meanings of the name Bartholomew lead to ‘son of farmer’ or ‘abundant in furrows’, both of which signify a poor, farmer lifestyle.

*Nicknamed a Red Herring, which is a common symbol for something that is intended to be distracting or misleading.

*He is highly intelligent in the Nouveau Utopian revolution, and science, engineering, astronomy, psychosurgery, social psychology, pharmaceutical science, medical science, alchemy, anatomy, and invention. These interests link directly to the Lieseil Inc. Mental Estate, where these come in very handy in the experiments that they perform on their patients.

*Created the company in 1853, along with the trademark of Lieseil Inc.

*Works in conjunction with Alister Warhol and his movement to reform the land.

*In a drawing of Bartholomew Lieseil, we can see an upside-down cross under his right eye, a symbol which Remington has used many times on himself.

*In the Obsidian logo, we can see that Lieseil is holding a cane. This same cane can be seen in the hand of Mr Doctor Man in Palaye’s merchandise.
